Live Music, Restaurants & Dives In Jackson Hole, WY

Full disclosure: I haven’t quite made it to Jackson Hole, WY yet, but the planner in me figured that drafting a travel-guide blog in anticipation of my upcoming trip would not only help me get the lay of the land, but also get me that much more excited for my visit. I asked a few longtime Jackson Hole locals to send suggestions for the can’t-miss summer events and best eats, drinks and live music in the area.

I can’t wait for my upcoming summer stay in Jackson and I’ll do my best to explore like a local (and amend this post as necessary). Whether you’re after physical activity, exploring the outdoors, imbibing local beer or quality rest and relaxation — or maybe even a mix of all these things! — we at BH encourage you to make Jackson your personal playground. I certainly plan to.

Downtown Jackson Bars + Live Music + Dining

  • Million Dollar Cowboy Bar

This iconic Jackson bar has ben around since 1937 and features live bands, billiards, and dancing. This is a for-sure participant in Jackson Hole’s Bar Crawl and is one of Wyoming's landmark watering holes as they call themselves. Be sure to check out their live music calendar.

  • Silver Dollar Bar at the Wort Hotel

Dine, dance, drink (in that order, I recommend). This historic hotel and bar features outdoor seating, people watching and famous elk gyros. This is a first-come, first-serve joint, so it’s best to get here early on busy days and evenings. Enjoy a scrumptious happy hour, lunch specials and stay into the night for live music by local and regional bands. Check out the music schedule.

  • The Rose Bar

The Rose is Jackson Hole’s first and only classically inspired cocktail lounge. With an emphasis on fresh and house-made ingredients, quality spirits, and an expansive selection of classic and modern cocktails, their menu is well-suited to every drinker’s interest. What sets them apart? You can order your cocktails to go and bring the best of the bar home.

  • FIGS

Located in Hotel Jackson, guests can savor the rich flavors of Lebanon at FIGS, Jackson Hole’s most unique culinary experience. Featuring authentic Lebanese-Mediterranean cuisine, FIGS pays homage to the Lebanese roots of the Jackson Hole family behind Hotel Jackson. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

  • Bin 22

Inspired by time spent in Tuscany and throughout Europe, the concept of Bin22 was imagined by owner Gavin Fine as a way to offer something different in the Jackson Hole culinary scene. The restaurant features a small wine and tapas bar in the back of an expansive bottle shop. Stay for dinner, a quick happy hour or grab a bottle to go.

  • Roadhouse Brewing Co.

A lively pub and eatery, this local craft brewery offers a sophisticated comfort-food menu that perfectly complements the brews. The beer selection is wide-ranging, featuring a number of Belgian-style ales as well as American staples.

  • Snake River Grill

Celebrating over 25 years on the Town Square, Snake River Grill is still the locals’ favorite fine dining experience. Whether at the intimate bar, featuring 300 wines and signature cocktails, or in the rustic-elegant dining room, SRG is a must for fresh, uniquely-crafted New American cuisine.

  • King Sushi

Log cabin meets contemporary and modern design in this cozy restaurant. Offering intimate bar seating, the creative, fun vibe is ideal for some of Jackson’s best sushi, noodles and house rolls. Reservations recommended.

  • Teton Tiger

Inspired by adventures in the Far East and the desire to consume healthy flavorful food, the team at Teton Tiger slings Asian street noodles, wok seared rice dishes and traditional tandoori meats in savory curries. The menu offers a little something for everyone, including dishes that range from Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Indian flavors, all while incorporating local ingredients.

  • Local

Local is a modern American steakhouse and bar located on Jackson’s historic town square. The menu features both classic and specialty cuts of locally-ranched meats and game alongside fresh seafood, shellfish, house-ground burgers, and seasonally-inspired food. Local is reviving the craft of in-house butchery, with a focus on dry-aged steaks and house-made sausages, all paired with a wine, beer and cocktail list that perfectly complements the menu. Reservations recommended.

  • Gather

Located in the heart of the majestic Tetons, Gather in Jackson Hole takes guests on an epic culinary adventure. The restaurant features chic-mountain ambiance and modern eclectic cuisine. Saddle up to our craftsman-inspired bar featuring artisan-inspired drinks and be sure to try the pork buns and crispy Brussels, the ultimate palate pleasers.

  • Kitchen

The Kitchen is a refined, yet casual establishment that provides modern cuisine with a comforting twist. The cuisine at The Kitchen embraces Asian influence and ingredients including the freshest fish, meats and seasonal vegetables. The beautiful and elegant architecture of the building mirrors the contemporary concepts in the food. Enjoy a large outdoor deck during the long summer nights or warm up in the cozy main dining room in winter.

  • Glorietta Tavern

Located in the Anvil Motel, this Italian trattoria features handmade pasta and wood-fired cooking with expertly crafted cocktails and a value-oriented cellar of incredible Italian wines. Glorietta is tasteful but casual and fun, with a cozy hearth at the heart of the restaurant. When possible, the menu offers local ingredients to create curiously delicious meals all while paying homage to Italy.

  • Big Hole BBQ

Barbecue lovers rejoice! This BBQ is slow smoked, made from scratch with lots of love and attention. They source the freshest ingredients and the food is so delicious, that sometimes they sell out—lucky for you, all the menu options are mouthwatering, so you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Choose from specialty tacos, burgers and meaty sandwiches or order a variety of mouthwatering starters as your main meal.

  • Jackson Hole Center for the Arts

Though it’s not a restaurant or bar, this community venue features a range of lively indoor and outdoor events, films, talks, live music and special programs. We highly recommend checking out their calendar.
