The Best of Jackson Hole—Unmatched Scenic Experiences

It’s not difficult to take the scenic route in Jackson Hole. You’ll have a hard time not saying “wow” every 30 seconds as you embark on leisurely drives along vast stretches of road that showcase truly awe-inspiring views. Here are a few routes where you should absolutely let the rubber meet the road.

Moose-Wilson Road

Keep your eyes peeled for prime wildlife viewing along this eight-mile road that runs between the Grand Teton National Park entrance just outside of Teton Village to Moose, WY.

Jenny Lake Scenic Loop

This three-mile, one-way road skirts the east shore of Jenny Lake offering incredible views of the Tetons.

Kelly Loop

This 16-mile loop starts and ends at Gros Ventre Junction, and offers one of the best bets in the entire valley for spotting a herd of bison. Bonus sights include Kelly’s yurt park, the Gros Ventre Slide, Shadow Mountain, historic Mormon Row and the iconic Moulton Barn.

Inner Park Loop Road

Enjoy 20 mesmerizing miles that wind through Grand Teton National Park at the base of the majestic Tetons.

Mormon Row Historical Site

This strip of historic homes was built by Mormon settlers in the late 1800s, with The John Moulton Barn being one of the most photographed places in Jackson. The Schwabacher Landing is a must-see for its photogenic traits alone. It is a strip of land on the Snake River whose terrain has allowed for a wide and slow lull in the river itself. This lull perfectly reflects the Grand Tetons in the calm waters and is a popular spot for photographers and sightseers alike.

Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton features two scenic drives that connect the park, however, the best way to take it all in is by the 42-mile scenic loop drive. Traveling along Teton Park Road, this beautiful drive runs parallel to the Teton mountains then loops back around creating the perfect route for viewing the grandeur of the Tetons. The entire drive can be completed in 1-2 hours (depending on how many sightseeing stops you make) and is a great way to spend an afternoon.
