It was only a matter of time for all of us to find each other in life, and from it Boutique Host, a women-owned business was born.
Some of life’s fondest memories are made while traveling and connecting. It elicits curiosity, feeds the soul, and sharpens our character. With strong backgrounds in luxury hospitality, property management, interior design, residential real estate, and a passion for hosting, we couldn’t be in a more suitable role for this venture.
Gerda Kauks
OWNER
Gerda became well-versed in the essentials of luxury hospitality and hotel operations when working at the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts, and Marriott Hotels & Resorts. Gerda manages luxury short-term rentals, oversees marketing and operations for Boutique Host. Her other passions are traveling and organizing. Gerda is also the founder of G DISAIN, which specializes in web and graphic design, and online marketing. She provides the highest level of boutique style, hands-on service and guidance.
Deborah Vaughn
DESIGNER
Deborah's extensive knowledge of residential and commercial interior design has taken her from LA’s Van Nuys Airport to helping launch the Restoration Hardware flagship store in Scottsdale. Plus, she has designed interiors for some of Scottsdale’s most coveted homes. With 20+ years of design experience, her true passion is helping clients envision newly built and remodeled residential spaces. Using expertly chosen colors, materials, textures and shapes based on her clients’ style, Deborah transforms living spaces into functional, stylish and timeless sanctuaries.
Megan Flynn
EDITOR
From publishing and editing a magazine about food and drink, to copywriting at Nike, to running a successful real estate business, my interest and passions run the gamut. The connective tissue is my ability to effectively and creatively convey meaning and storytelling through words. I love that each project is fresh and unique, and I can’t wait to help craft your story.
